چکیده
Last year, in "Choosing Penn's Future," I reported to you my understanding of the key issues and opportunities the Universityfaces in the 1980's. At that time, I stressed that three special challenges would shape or educational planning for 1983 and beyond: undergraduate education, research excellence, and student financial assistance. This is a report on where those plans have taken us thusfar, and where they are likely to lead in the years ahead.
